Captain
HANA SEDDON
Māori Ministry – Addictions, Supportive Accommodation and Reintegration Services.
Māori Ministry and Emergency Services Coordinator – Northern Division.
A fiery combination of Ngāpuhi and Irish descent, Hana’s passion is to ensure a tūrangawae – a place for people to stand and to know that they belong. Since joining The Salvation Army in 2004, Hana has worked at this through a number of different frontline social work and management roles that support people to make change. Her focus in this season is leading Māori Ministry in the Northern Division and also with Addictions, Supportive Accommodation and Reintegration Services (ASARS).
Together they are creating space; each person bringing what they have and working together to strengthen whānau and communities throughout Aotearoa.
